This remodel of a tiny 12 square meter “crow’s nest” guest unit is located atop one of the San Francisco's most notable 1930’s Streamline Moderne buildings, made famous by the film Dark Passage, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.  

The guest unit is accessed from the owners' condominium terrace below via a narrow steel stair. The design, which features a built-in bar and wardrobe cabinets, accentuates the maritime ambiance and style of the building while providing an elegant setting for enjoying panoramic views across the city and the bay.  

Every square inch of the small space has been designed for optimal efficiency.  Should overnight guest tire of the stunning views over San Francisco Bay, a television rises via remote control from the integrated cabinet at the front of the unit.
