The design concept for this tenant improvement centers on a new, freestanding structure inserted within the existing shell.Deliberately refined in contrast to the raw shell around it, this structure houses the sales and service functions while delineating the customer sales floor from the back-of-house areas. Strategic views into the service bay engage customers, adding depth and interest to their experience of the space.

 

Custom display podiums and cabinets, crafted in natural oak, complement the sales counter and the pegboard display wall beyond, unifying the material palette throughout.

 

This retail space is the first San Diego–area location for this Southern California bicycle retailer, and serves as their flagship store.
