This project resulted in a refined update of an older city apartment within an historical building from the 1800s. The owners’ program focused primarily on the reconfiguration of two existing spaces into a new master bathroom, along with the remodeling of an existing half bath into a new powder room / laundry room. The design evokes a sense of elegance and refinement, creating uplifting and calming spaces.
The focus of the master bathroom is a custom-designed glass shower enclosure with a translucent, back-lit wet wall. The shower creates two zones in the large bathroom, featuring an integrated storage wall and full-width vanity counter.
The tiny powder room space was nearly unusable before its transformation into a highly efficient, bright space with plenty of built-in storage cabinetry.
Components and fixtures, including large format stone tile and Austrian lighting, are of the highest quality. All cabinetry, including the master bath vanity, has been custom-detailed by TVA.
